This week, students and professors from TecNM Campus Cosamaloapan visited the Authorized Industry 4.0 Certification Center and Industry 4.0 Lab, where they explored technologies designed to support the development of Industry 4.0 solutions and connected systems.
During the visit, attendees experienced the Planet Debug ecosystem powered by MIKROE, a platform that enables development, validation, and experimentation using real hardware environments. These hands-on ecosystems help bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world technology applications.
As part of the experience, participants joined a practical XIDE IoT workshop, working directly with digitalization and IoT development tools through guided activities focused on Industry 4.0 technologies and connected solutions.
The combination of laboratory exploration and hands-on training provided students and faculty with valuable exposure to technologies currently used in embedded systems, automation, and industrial IoT projects.
Initiatives like these strengthen the connection between academia and technology, helping future engineers gain practical experience with the tools, methodologies, and development environments used in modern technology projects.
